Colorectal cancer is a major public health issue in Singapore. It is the most common cancer diagnosed in both men and women, accounting for about 15.5% of all cancer cases. According to the Singapore Cancer Registry, there were 10,507 new cases of colorectal cancer in Singapore between 2012 and 2016, with an average of 2,100 new cases per year.
